RN, Clinical Educator

This position is responsible for providing adult Operating Room patient specific orientation and education to nursing staff as defined by the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and Standards of Nursing practice, and is compliant with regulatory agency requirements.  The position also supports the accomplishment of Operating Room goals and objectives and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center strategic plans.  A current California RN license, and an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.  A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is also required.  A minimum of 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in a operating room setting is also required.  Must have a proven ability to be flexible, effective us of IPR skills, and the ability to effectively use principles of teaching.
