POSITION REQUIREMENTS
 

Join our outstanding team as a Faculty Physician (Hospitalist). Administrative duties include:
Serve on Quality Committees, Utilization Review Committees. Serve as a Faculty advisor, assists the Program Director in Residency education matters. Provides Resident evaluations, structured clinical evaluations and assists in curriculum development.
Adhere to ACGME Program Requirements for Residency Education in Internal Medicine regarding faculty expectations and participates in the creation of Care Pathways and Disease Management Protocols. Initiate and/or participate in the hospital quality initiatives.

Clinical responsibilities include:
Providing direct patient care on resident-uncovered medical service. Inpatient medical attending responsibilities. General Medicine wards. Participate in On Call and weekend rotations. Also responsibilities in Ambulatory, General Medicine Consults and patient management in the Clinical Decision Unit in the Emergency Department. Supervise the UrgiCare and Post-Discharge Clinic. Provide Pre- and Post-Operative evaluations and management and other inpatient consultations.

ACADEMIC (TEACHING): Participates in teaching conferences and activities of the department. Provides teaching and supervision for residents, students, and staff related to a specific department; including elective rotations, lectures and in-services.

REQUIREMENTS:
MD or DO degree

Board qualified or certified. AZ licensed physician. Medical Staff Membership.
