JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary care medical group subdivision for our health system is expanding their hospitalist group. The Hospitalist opportunity is an employed position with a salary guarantee of $200,000 and a production and quality based bonus plan in the second year. This subdivision offers a signing bonus, relocation assistance, malpractice insurance including tail coverage, full paid benefits, $5000 CME allowance and substantial vacation/CME time. Join experienced partners (seven year average), enjoy a collegial atmosphere, electronic medical record and a medical director with 12 years hospitalist experience. Currently, the physicians work Monday through Friday with 1 in 4 weekend coverage. A block rotation has recently been introduced to the traditional M-F and rotating weekend schedule at one of our facilities. New physicians will facilitate adding block time at another facility. Moonlighting residents and fellows reduce nights and weekends worked.
