Requires a person with leadership ability, which is flexible in a multidisciplinary environment. Serves as safety officer for Surgical Services and makes routine safety rounds. Works with manager to coordinate the Departmental PI and Safety Program. Provides support to manager with staffing and provides input on evaluations, counseling, and selection of staff. Works with manager for capital and budgetary planning for departmental needs. Serves as charge nurse and assists with staffing as required.
Education: RN and current Tennessee licensure/permit.
Experience: Three-years in a Surgery Setting, prior supervisory experience
Professional Requirement: RN lisence recognized by the State of Tennessee.
Certifications: BLS certification, ACLS & PALS
