Nurse Manager - Coronary Care Unit

Hospital along the coast of North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Manager for their 6-bed Coronary Care Unit. The 16-bed Coronary Care Unit is a fast-paced, teamwork-based unit that serves as a referral center for seven counties. The patient population is pre-surgical post-MI patients. They provide innovative treatments including continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), hypothermic therapy, and the use of the Intra-aortic balloon pump for patients in cardiogenic shock.

34 FTEs

This position is accountable for staffing, scheduling, managing unit operations, fiscal management and human resource management. The manager will provide input into strategic planning and budget development.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelors Degree required. BSN preferred.

Experience: Five years experience as an RN in a coronary care unit / ICU and minimum of two years management experience.
