OverView:

Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility is to perform and maintain preventative maintenance, repair, analysis, design, modification, installation and evaluation of sophisticated and complex instrumentation used in the clinical laboratory.

Qualifications:
This position requires an Associates degree in Biomed and 6 years of clinical lab instrumentation maintenance experience -OR completion of a Biomed Military training program and 6 - years progressively more responsible work experience in all phases of clinical laboratory instrumentation OR 8 years of clinical lab instrumentation maintenance experience. Certification as a clinical laboratory equipment specialist (CLES) or CBMET a plus. Must be proficient at reading and analyzing schematic diagrams, including analog and digital circuits and possess a working knowledge of electrical and electronic fundamentals, mechanical and pneumatics theory, digital circuit theory and microprocessor theory. Must also be proficient in Windows PC and network operating systems, PC repair and have fundamental knowledge in Local Area Network configuration and troubleshooting. Must be knowledgeable in JCAHO and CAP standards for Environment of Care. Requires a valid Arizona Drivers License.
